A result of my interest in aviation, my modelling is sporadic.. I notice it only happens when I am not dating... hmmmm... lets hope I don't get to make any more! Still, it is a nice way to relax, good therapy and quite creative.

I model any subject that interests me, but mainly aircraft in 1/48th. I am lucky if I do one or two models a year, but my blog/website is a good place to document them. I got back into modelling as an adult with the release of the aeromaster acrylic colours. I really wanted to try them, and enjoyed the difference in using these over the old Humbrol enamels. Ironically aeromaster acrylics are no longer available in NZ (except the old stock in Acorn Models which are turing to gel) and I still use Humbrol enamels which are fine. I just prefer acrylics for painting large areas.
